More than one in three U.S. adults have prediabetes, and about 80% of people with the condition are unaware of it. With the right interventions, physicians and care teams can help prevent type 2 diabetes in at-risk adult patients.

Consider a prediabetes screening program for your patients, offer additional education, or refer at-risk patients to a lifestyle change program from the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
