Resolution submission
Contribute to WPS policymaking efforts by submitting a resolution for consideration at the 2026 Annual WPS Meeting. The resolution submission deadline is Feb. 19. Submit resolutions and direct any questions to [email protected].

Comment and vote on resolutions
WPS members: watch your email for an opportunity to review and comment on policy proposals between March 9 and March 13, then to ratify final policy proposals beginning March 18 through March 23. Contact [email protected] with any questions.
WPS Handbook Review Committee
The WPS House of Delegates (HOD) Handbook Review Committee convenes prior to each WPS business meeting to review items of business under consideration by the House of Delegates. This committee identifies issues relevant to women in medicine, or of timely significance to the profession as a whole, and makes recommendations for WPS action.
To serve on a WPS Handbook Review Committee for the 2026 Annual Meeting, please complete the volunteer sign-up form by April 26. Contact [email protected] with questions.
Become a WPS associate
Each medical society represented in the House of Delegates can participate in the WPS Associates Network. Members of the WPS Associates Network connect with other medical society representatives to address issues that impact women physicians and patients. Become a WPS associate today.

Receive WPS communications
WPS seeks to influence and contribute to AMA policy and program development on issues of importance to women physicians and increase the number and influence of women physicians in leadership roles.
All women AMA members are automatically members of the WPS. Male AMA members interested in issues that impact women physicians may complete this membership form to join WPS.
