November 2021 Special Meeting of the HOD: Speakers' updates overview

In preparation for the November 2021 AMA House of Delegates meeting, the Speakers' have provided updates for the format of the meeting. In September, it was determined that a virtual Special Meeting was the best option given the unpredictability of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the Speakers' provide additional updates, they will be posted to this page.

Speakers' updates

  1. Nov. 14 and 17, 2021

    1. Annotated reference committees reports, 2022 election candidates and order of consideration for reference committee reports.
  2. Nov. 11 and 12, 2021

    1. Review the Supplementary Report of the Committee on Rules and Credentials for Late Resolution 1001, and the Sunday tote.
  3. Nov. 8 and 9, 2021

    1. Late resolutions and extractions deadline, and Resolutions Committee second report and draft items from the "Friday tote."
  4. Nov. 1 and Oct. 29, 2021

    1. The handbook addendum is now available and interleaved with the initial handbook and is also available as a separate document.
  5. Oct. 25 and 26, 2021

    1. Instructional sheet for navigating the November HOD virtual meeting along with Lumi and Zoom links for the sessions; order of reference committee hearings.
  6. Oct. 22 update

    1. Handbook release and reference committee reports and resolutions.
  7. Sept. 13 update

    1. Official call to convene a Special Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates (HOD) Nov. 12-16, 2021
  8. Sept. 10 update

    1. Speakers asked to investigate the option of a hybrid meeting as an alternative to a virtual November meeting.
  9. Aug. 27 update

    1. Suspension of 2021 HOD Interim Meeting scheduled to be held in-person in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 12-16.
  10. Aug. 13 update

    1. Pursuant to July action by Board of Trustees, plans continue for in-person November Interim meeting.
