Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine has launched the Green Family Foundation Neighborhood Health Education and Learning Program (HELP). The curriculum focuses on the social and behavioral social determinants of health to provide a longitudinal and interprofessional community-based experience for medical students.

Need/gap addressed: The CENIQ and VPA Rubric were developed to address the need for adequate tools for measurement of interprofessional communication and collaboration in community settings, in particular, during household visits.
