Brandi Ring, MD, MBA, is an obstetrician/gynecologist and serves as speaker of the Young Physicians Section (YPS) Governing Council for the 2023-2025 term.
The YPS is a member interest group within the AMA for physicians under 40 years of age or within the first eight years of professional practice after residency and fellowship training. The governing council is responsible for enhancing young physician practice of medicine, including the transition into practice and facilitating the participation of young physicians in policy development.
Dr. Ring has deep passion for serving the underserved and developing health policy and system change. Past leadership roles include RFS speaker, YPS chair, executive board member for ACOG and Colorado Medical Society, president of Aurora-Adams County Medical Society, CMS medical student liaison, chair of the ACOG JFCAC and co-chair of the PCORI Advisory Panel on Healthcare Delivery and Disparities Research. She currently serves on the TMA Council on Medical Education.
