Your Powerful Ally

The AMA is your powerful ally, focused on addressing the issues important to you, so you can focus on what matters most—patients. We will meet this challenge together.

Resolutions

The YPS had the below resolution considered at the 2025 Interim Meeting of the House of Delegates:

  • Resolution 005: Preserving Autonomy in the Patient-Physician Relationship

During the YPS Assembly, members discussed reproductive health issues, the impact of Medicaid cuts, visa protections and other public health topics.

Education session

In addition, the YPS hosted an educational program titled, “Evidence-Based Policy—Using Medicine to Inform the Law,” where Dr. Kimberly Chernoby, MD, presented her journey in medicine and law and described her unique impact on advocacy as a physician.
