Ved V. Gossain, MD

Ved V. Gossain, MD, currently serves as immediate past chair of the Senior Physicians Section Governing Council at the American Medical Association.

The Senior Physicians Section (SPS), with more than 60,000 members, is the largest senior physician group in the United States. AMA members 65 years of age and above can remain involved in their profession through the section activities.

Dr. Gossain is an emeritus professor of medicine (former chief of the division on Endocrinology) at Michigan State University and served previously as chair and delegate of the International Medical Graduates Section (IMGS).
