Senior Physicians Section (SPS) Governing Council elections

UPDATED . 2 MIN READ

Senior Physicians Section (SPS) members are invited to vote in the 2024 SPS Governing Council run-off election, April 25-May 2, 2024. All members of the AMA aged 65 and older as of April 1, 2024, are eligible to vote in the election.

No candidates received a majority of votes for the delegate and officer at-large races in the 2024 SPS Governing Council election.

By rule, a new SPS run-off election ballot will be circulated with the two candidates for the delegate position who received the most votes, and the four candidates who received the most votes for the officer at-large position.

A link to the ballot will be sent on April 25 to all SPS members for whom AMA has an email address on file who are eligible to vote. Please note that ballot links are personalized to each member and cannot be shared with others.

If you do not receive your ballot link on April 25, please check your email spam/junk/social folders and other email accounts you may have used with AMA. If you cannot locate the email with your ballot link, complete the form to request that your ballot be resent to you.

Election results will be announced via the May edition of the AMA Senior Physicians Section newsletter. For questions about the election, contact the SPS at [email protected].
