Resolution submission

Contribute to RFS policymaking efforts by submitting a resolution for consideration at the 2025 Interim Meeting. The resolution submission deadline is Sept. 11. Submit resolutions and direct questions to [email protected].

Online member forum

Visit the RFS online member forum to review and comment on policy proposals that will be discussed at the meeting. The forum will be open Sept. 29–Oct. 10. The deadline to submit comments for consideration by the RFS reference committee is Oct. 10.

Governing council elections

Programs and activities of the RFS are directed by a seven-member governing council elected annually by members of the section. One position is up for election at the 2025 Interim Meeting.

2026 Sectional delegates/alternate sectional delegates elections

Sectional delegates represent the interests of resident and fellow physicians in the House of Delegates. The term for a sectional/alternate delegate is one year. Attendance at the House of Delegates Meeting at the Annual Meeting (June 5-10, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois) and the House of Delegates Interim Meeting (Nov. 6-9, Orlando, Florida) is required.

Resident seat endorsement for the Council on Science and Public Health

The RFS Assembly will endorse one candidate for the resident seat on the Council on Science and Public Health. The election will be held at the House of Delegates meeting in June 2026. Any and all candidates may wish to continue their candidacy at the HOD regardless of whether they receive this endorsement.
