Registration is now open for the 2023 Interim Meeting. Registration is free for AMA Members.

Only credentialed delegates will be permitted to vote on policy matters and in elections. Review the specialty societies allocation (PDF) and state societies allocation (PDF) to confirm how many delegates you may credential. Credential through your state or specialty society by Oct. 6. Direct any questions to [email protected].

Contribute to RFS policymaking efforts by submitting a resolution for consideration at the 2023 Interim Meeting of the RFS. The resolution submission deadline is Sept. 25. Submit resolutions and direct any questions to [email protected].

New to the policy-making process? Access our education module, How AMA Policy is Made and learn how RFS members influence the AMA’s policymaking efforts.

Access the RFS online member forum to review and comment on policy proposals that will be discussed at the meeting. Items will be posted as they become available. The forum will be open Oct. 2-13. The deadline to submit comments for consideration by the RFS reference committee is Oct. 13.

Programs and activities of the RFS are directed by a seven-member governing council elected annually by members of the section. One position is open for election at the 2023 Interim Meeting:

  • Chair-elect

Applications are due Sept. 25.

Sectional delegates represent the interests of resident and fellow physicians in the House of Delegates. The term for a sectional/alternate delegate is one year. Attendance at the House of Delegates Meeting Annual meeting (June 8-12, 2024 in Chicago, Illinois) and the House of Delegates Interim Meeting (Nov. 9-12 in Orlando, Florida) is required.  

RFS is seeking volunteers to serve on three committees:

  • Reference Committee
  • Rules Committee
  • Logistics Committee

Applications are due Sept. 25.
