The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Professional Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research is offering a 4-week elective rotation for two AMA residents.

The AMA Minority Affairs Section gives voice to and advocates for issues that impact minority physicians and medical students. The Governing Council members are responsible for directing the programs and activities of the Section.

The AMA Women Physicians Section (WPS) gives voice to and advocates for issues that impact women physicians and medical students. The Governing Council members are responsible for directing the programs and activities of the Section.

The Council on Legislation (COL) makes recommendations to the AMA Board of Trustees about legislation.

Surgical Caucus Executive Committee

The Surgical Caucus of the AMA exists to provide a forum at each session of the House of Delegates for discussion and recommendations concerning professional and socioeconomic issues of particular interest to surgeons.
