Election runoff
Senior Physicians Section (SPS) members are invited to vote in the 2023 SPS Governing Council runoff election, May 3-11. All members of the AMA aged 65 and older as of April 1, 2023, are eligible to vote in the election.
A link to the runoff ballot will be sent on May 3 to all SPS members for whom AMA has an email address on file. Please note that ballot links are personalized to each member and cannot be shared with others.
If you do not receive your ballot link on May 3, please check your email spam/junk/social folders and other email accounts you may have used with AMA. If you cannot locate the email with your ballot link, request a ballot.

First officer-at-large elected
Jenny L. Boyer, MD, JD, PhD, received a majority of the votes cast and has been elected to the first officer-at-large position.
Second officer-at-large: Runoff election
The majority vote requirement was not met for the second open office-at-large position. The two candidates who received the highest number of votes are selected for the runoff election.
