Candidate support eligibility & requirements
The LGBTQ+ Section offers support to candidates for AMA House of Delegates (HOD) elections. For elections occurring during the 2025 election cycle, the LGBTQ+ Section has opted to hold virtual interviews by way of requesting written materials from candidates.
2025 elections
Candidates seeking the support of the LGBTQ+ Section should complete and submit the relevant questionnaire. The section will review submissions, and the Membership and Engagement Committee members will make recommendations based on candidate responses.
The deadline for submissions is April 25, 2025, which marks seven days after the Board's official announcement of candidates.
