Timothy McAvoy, MD, is an internist serving as delegate of the Private Practice Physician Section (PPPS) Governing Council for the 2022-2024 term.
The PPPS is a member interest group within the AMA for physicians in private practice. The section governing council is responsible for directing PPPS efforts to preserve the freedom, independence and integrity of private practice.
In addition to his role with PPPS and his private practice, Dr. McAvoy serves as medical director for Brookfield Rehabilitation and Specialty Care and as a member of the board of Waukesha Elmbrook Health.
