Janet Jacobson, MD, is certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is the medical director and senior vice president of clinical services, Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino counties and serves as alternate delegate for the LGBTQ+ Section.
The LGBTQ+ Section is a member interest group within the AMA dedicated to addressing issues that impact LGBTQ medical students, residents and fellows, physicians and patients.
Dr. Jacobson has served as chair of the LGBTQ+ Section Policy Committee. Dr. Jacobson has also served in roles with many other organizations, including as alternate delegate for the California Medical Association.
