Ariella Wagner, a member of the Medical Student Section (MSS) of the AMA, serves as the student representative on the Women Physicians Section Governing Council.

The WPS is a member interest group within the AMA for women physicians and medical students. The section governing council is responsible for increasing the membership, participation and leadership of women in the AMA as well as advocating on women’s health and women in medicine policy issues.

Wagner is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook in Long Island, New York, and earned her Master of Sciences in Clinical Research at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, New York.  She has been a member of the AMA since 2023, serving in various leadership roles at the local and national levels including local campus chapter community service chair and MSS standing committee vice chair. 

Wagner is also an active member of the Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS), both as a district delegate to the MMS HOD, and member of the Committee for Violence Intervention and Prevention. She is an active member of the Massachusetts chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
