Shail Maingi, MD, is an attending hematologist-oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and serves as the vice chair on the AMA Advisory Committee on LGBTQ Issues. 

The Advisory Committee on LGBTQ Issues is a member interest group within the AMA dedicated to addressing issues that impact LGBTQ medical students, residents and fellows, physicians and patients.

Dr. Maingi has served the GLMA Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ Equality from 2001-present.
