Ricci Sylla, MD

Ricci Sylla, MD, FACOG, Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Sutter East Bay Medical Group

Dr. Sylla specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She joined the Sutter East Bay Medical Group in 2010 and is affiliated with Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley.

Upon completion of her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she worked in research for several years at City of Hope in Duarte, California, and at the University of Colorado in Boulder. She then attended the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed her residency training at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara, California.

Dr. Sylla is currently the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) vice-chair of Section 2, the Bay Area, in District IX, California. She also serves as a member of ACOG District IX’s Committee on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and the Legislative Committee.
