A look at the most viewed states
The most-used filters in FREIDA™ help narrow search results by state or region. Discover the 15 most-seen residency programs in the states with the highest number of total pageviews.
California attracted more than 250,000 pageviews of the 431 programs available in the state. Topping the list was the internal medicine program at University of California (San Francisco)/Fresno.
Despite having the third-most programs in the Midwest at 233, Illinois earned the most user pageviews with nearly 220,000. The most viewed program was the internal medicine at Cook County Health and Hospitals System.
Northeast: New York
Offering the most programs in the country (544), New York also had the largest number of total pageviews for its programs at more than 450,000. Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s internal medicine program was the most viewed.
Texas may have more programs, but with more than 245,000 pageviews for its 263 programs, Florida had the most pageviews in the South. University of Miami/JFK Medical Center Palm Beach Regional GME Consortium topped the list for internal medicine.
