The American Medical Association (AMA), in collaboration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), today announced a continuing medical education (CME) video now available for physicians and other health care professionals that offers easy and practical strategies for discussing the Nutrition Facts label with patients.

"One of the simplest ways patients can make healthier food choices is referencing the Nutrition Facts label found on the back of all food and beverage packages," said AMA President Andrew W. Gurman, M.D. "This new video showcases different strategies that physicians can easily incorporate into their workflow to help guide patients on making better food choices that will have a lasting, positive impact on their health outcomes."
