Pearl of the Week: Renew prescriptions all at once

Switch to an annual renewal process

| 1 Min Read
STEPS Forward Pearl of the Week

Get the annual prescription renewal process started with a patient by renewing all prescriptions during a single visit. It is critical to cancel all prior prescriptions at the same time—and if it is too early to fill a patient’s prescription, let pharmacies know to place the new prescription “on hold.” Renewing prescriptions all at once for the maximum duration allowed by state law will save time for you, your practice and your patient.
