Rajadhar (Raj) Reddy, a medical student at Baylor College of Medicine, serves as delegate of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2023-2024 term.

The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.

Reddy has been a member of the AMA since 2018 serving in various national, regional, state and local leadership roles, including as a MSS regional alternate delegate in the AMA House of Delegates, an MSS caucus co-lead for medical service, a member of the HOD Reference Committee on Medical Service, co-chair of the MSS Reference Committee, a lead for the MSS Internal Operating Procedures & Election Task Force, and a member on the MSS Resolution Task Force, MSS Committee on Economics & Quality in Medicine, MSS Committee on Bioethics & Humanities and MSS Committee on Legislation & Advocacy. He also previously served as delegate to the MSS Assembly from the American Psychiatric Association and as the medical student representative on the Texas Medical Association Council on Socioeconomics and the Harris County Medical Society Board of Medical Legislation.
