Charlie Adams, a medical student at Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine, serves as DEI officer of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2023-2024 term.
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
Adams has been a member of the AMA since 2022 serving in various leadership positions, as well as the alternate delegate for the Missouri State Medical Association.
