Anand Singh

Anand Singh, a medical student at Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University, serves as chair-elect of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2023-2024 term. Singh is also a member of the Medical Student Section Councilors and Representatives at the American Medical Association, and is the student representative for the AMA Foundation Board.

The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.

Singh has been a member of the AMA since 2021 serving in various roles, including chair of the AMA Committee on Legislation and Advocacy, immediate past chair of MSS Region 3 and many other leadership positions.
