Abbigayle Willgruber, a medical student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, serves as at-large officer of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2023-2024 term.
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
Willgruber has been a member of the AMA since 2020 serving in various leadership roles including Region 5 legislation and advocacy chair, campus chapter president, and Region 5 delegate to the House of Delegates.
