APS Virtual Policy Town Hall
The next APS Virtual Policy Town Hall will take place in April 2026. During the town hall, APS members will have an opportunity to review and vote on new APS resolutions. Adopted resolutions will be submitted for consideration by the AMA House of Delegates during the 2026 Annual Meeting.

Submit a resolution
APS members may submit resolutions for consideration at biannual meetings of the APS (June and November). Resolutions for consideration at the 2026 APS Annual Meeting must be submitted to [email protected] by April 6, 2026, at 8 a.m. View the APS resolution template (DOCX).
The APS Resolution Guide (DOCX) includes a worksheet and checklist to assist with resolution development. If you are not ready to draft a resolution, you can send a completed worksheet to [email protected]. Resolution ideas for consideration during the 2026 APS Annual Meeting are due by Feb. 15, 2026.

Comment on policy proposals
APS members are invited to comment on policy proposals in advance of each APS business meeting through the online member forum. Authors are encouraged to comment on their own resolutions if they believe doing so would be informative to other reviewers.
