Before COVID-19, physician burnout, depression and suicide were significant issues in U.S. health care, affecting clinical care. Recent studies show a national increase in physician burnout to 53%, with many physicians not seeking help due to stigma and application concerns.
This webinar will discuss the problematic questions found in applications for medical licensing, employment and credentialing, which demand disclosure of mental illness or substance use disorder (SUD), further contributing to these challenges.
Participants are encouraged to bring their questions for the closing Q&A session.
