The AMA develops policy positions on the health care system with the goal of improving both medical science and public health. To help policy makers and the public understand the AMA’s position on any particular topic area, AMA has developed PolicyFinder, a database that lists all of AMA’s positions and policies since the Association’s inception.

PolicyFinder also includes AMA’s resolutions for House of Delegates meetings. Read more about how AMA’s policies are organized and developed.

Please read the following Terms and Conditions on conducting a PolicyFinder search and click "Accept" to access the policies. Clicking "Decline" will take you back to the AMA home page.
