AMA Litigation Center
The Litigation Center of the American Medical Association and State Medical Societies safeguards the interests of the medical profession in legal proceedings across the nation. Established as a coalition in 1995 by the AMA and the state medical societies, the Litigation Center helps shape the future of medicine in the nation's courtrooms. The Litigation Center brings lawsuits, files amicus briefs and otherwise provides support or becomes actively involved in litigation of general importance to physicians and public health. The Litigation Center is active in the state and federal courts throughout the country, including the United States Supreme Court.
