Danielle Rivera, MD

Danielle Rivera, MD, serves as vice chair for the Resident & Fellow Section Governing Council and as sectional delegate for the RFS at the American Medical Association for the 2025-2026 term.

The RFS is a member interest group within the AMA to provide resident and fellow participation in the activities of the AMA and gives a voice to and advocates for issues that impact them.

Dr. Rivera is a child and adolescent psychiatry resident at the University of New Mexico. She has been actively involved in organized medicine since medical school. As a sectional delegate to the AMA House of Delegates, Dr. Rivera is endorsed by the American Psychiatric Association.
