Kaylee Scarnati, a surgical resident at Georgetown University, graduated from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. Scarnati served as chair of the Medical Student Section (MSS) Governing Council for the 2025-2026 term.
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
Scarnati has been a member of the AMA since 2021 serving in various roles including as the Government Relations Advocacy Fellow (GRAF) and past Region 5 delegate of the MSS for both the 2022 and 2023 terms.
