The 2026 Interim Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates will be held Friday, Nov. 6 through Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida. We encourage you to regularly check the HOD Interim Meeting page, which will be updated as information becomes available.
I-26 registration open
Advanced online registration is open through Friday, Oct. 23, 2026. After this date, attendees will need to register on-site. All attendees of the House and Section meetings, including guests and children, must register. Registration is required so that attendees can attest to abide by our Code of Conduct. Participants must also attest for their guests. Attendees must personally complete their registration. It should not be completed by other individuals. Your name on your badge will appear exactly as you type it into the system. Please do not use all CAPS or all lowercase letters.
Hotel reservations
The deadline to make hotel reservations at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is Oct. 12, 2026. AMA cannot guarantee room rates after this date. Visit the Interim Meeting travel, hotel and child care page to make hotel reservations.
HOD Reference Manual
The HOD Reference Manual (PDF) has been updated for I-26. The manual serves as the standing rules of the HOD and is a great resource laying out procedures, policies and practices of House.
I-26 resolutions
Resolutions for the 2026 Interim Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates must be approved by Sept. 22, 2026, at noon Central. To guarantee that the review process is completed by the on-time deadline, resolutions must be submitted by Sept. 16, 2026, at noon Central.
Resolutions adopted and forwarded by the AMA section meetings held after the 45 day on-time deadline date and prior to the HOD opening session are excepted.
Per Bylaw 2.12.1.1 (PDF), resolutions at an interim meeting must be related to AMA advocacy or ethics or be of an urgent nature requiring action prior to the next annual meeting. Detailed information about resolution submission to the HOD office along with resolution templates may be found on the HOD process for submitting a resolution page.
Resolution office hours
The HOD office and the AMA Office of General Counsel will once again conduct resolution office hours to answer any questions while preparing resolutions for submission. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to expedite approval of your resolutions once submitted.
