The 2026 Annual Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates will be held Friday, June 5 through Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. We encourage you to regularly check the AMA HOD Annual Meeting page which will be updated as information becomes available.
A-26 seating
For A-26 there are 793 delegates in the House, and the Grand Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency has reached capacity.
At the opening session and president-elect debate on Friday, June 5, open theatre seating is available for all who wish to attend. There will not be reserved seating for delegates at the opening session.
Subsequent HOD sessions will have gated entry. Open theatre seating will not be available in the room. Additional seating with screens to view the proceedings will be in Grand Hall K-N immediately across from the Grand Ballroom.

- Delegates with badge and displaying their salmon card
- Alternate delegates with badge and displaying a salmon card (when delegate not seated)
- Current Board of Trustees members
- Former officers
- Council members and staff
- Reference committee members and staff
Process to exchange delegates and alternate delegates
Delegates or alternate delegates must display the salmon card to enter the ballroom. Exchange of the salmon card must occur in the Grand Hall foyer. Additional time for exchange will be given between reference committee reports.

Online registration ends May 22
Registration is required for all attendees of the AMA Section and House of Delegates meetings and their guests and children. You must personally register to provide attestation for yourself and your guests to abide by the Code of Conduct for the meeting. To register, visit the AMA HOD Annual Meeting page.
Advance registration online ends Friday, May 22. After this date, attendees will be required to register onsite. To prevent delays at the meeting, please take a moment to register online now.
Hotel reservation deadline: May 19
The deadline to make hotel reservations at the Hyatt Regency Chicago is Tuesday, May 19. AMA cannot guarantee room rates after this date. Visit the Annual Meeting inauguration, travel, hotel and child care page to make hotel reservations.
