AAMC releasing core competencies in LGBT medical education

A groundbreaking publication defining core competencies in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) medical education recently was released by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). The publication is designed to assist institutions in implementing curricular and climate change in medical education.
