Tentative agenda
The 2026 AMA Interim Meeting will be held Friday, Nov. 6 through Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026, at the Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida. To assist groups in planning, a tentative schedule is available for I-26. Please note that groups may not schedule meetings or other programming that conflicts with HOD business sessions or reference committee hearings.

- All day—section programming
- 6 p.m.—HOD opening session
Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026
- Morning open for delegation/caucus meetings
- Noon—HOD second opening
- Afternoon reference committee hearings (hearings will run concurrently beginning 15 minutes after the close of the HOD second opening)
Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026
- 8:30 a.m.-noon—open forums/education sessions
- Noon-1:30 p.m.—AMPAC luncheon
- Afternoon open for delegation/caucus meetings
Monday, Nov. 9, 2026

Election Committee volunteers
The speakers are seeking volunteers to serve on the Election Committee (EC). EC members are eligible for reappointment annually up to four terms sequentially and up to eight years in total. Terms will begin immediately following the 2026 Interim Meeting. You must also agree not to be directly involved in a campaign during your tenure.
The primary role of the EC is to work with the speakers to adjudicate election complaints. Additional roles are determined by the speaker may also include monitoring election reforms, responding to requests from the speaker for input on election issues, reviewing the campaign complaint reporting, validation and resolution process, and making recommendations to the House regarding campaign/election issues.
The deadline to submit the Election Committee volunteer form is Thursday, Aug. 13, by 5 p.m. Central.
Reference Committee volunteers
The speakers are currently accepting applications to serve on reference committees (other than F), Rules & Credentials Committee and as tellers for the 2026 Interim Meeting. Please complete the I-26 HOD Committee volunteer form and indicate all positions for which you would be interested in serving. You must complete this form to be considered for service at I-26 as previous forms are not retained. The deadline to submit the volunteer form is Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, by 5 p.m. Central.
All reference committees will meet virtually between Friday, Oct. 23 and Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, for their preliminary executive session and report reviews. Volunteers are asked to be available during this window for these meetings. The Preliminary Reference Committee Reports must be completed in time to be posted on Oct. 30, 2026, by 5 p.m. Central.
AMPAC Board of Directors
The American Medical Association is currently soliciting applications to fill one vacancy on the AMPAC Board of Directors.
The AMA Board of Trustees will appoint a new member to the AMPAC Board at the September 2026 meeting. Members of the AMPAC Board serve a two-year term and may be eligible to serve three additional terms for a maximum tenure of eight years.
Applicants must submit the board-approved application, a two-page (maximum) executive resume, and may submit one letter of recommendation. For additional information on the application process and to download the most current AMPAC application, visit the Council and committee applications page.
All applicants must also complete a Conflict of Interest (COI) disclosure statement. This process has been automated by the AMA Office of the General Counsel, and a secure link will be emailed to each applicant. Application materials will not be considered until the COI disclosure has been completed.
The deadline to submit AMPAC Board applications is Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, at 5 p.m. Central.
I-26 credentialing
Credentialing for the 2026 Interim Meeting will open on Monday, July 27, 2026. The deadline to submit credentialing information is Friday, Aug. 28, 2026. The HOD Office will reach out to designated contacts for HOD member organizations about the credentialing process. If you have any questions, email the HOD Office.

Deadline to claim A-26 CME credits
Claim CME for sessions attended at the 2026 AMA Annual Meeting House of Delegates on the AMA Ed Hub™.
You can claim CME credit(s) for all attended sessions only once as a single submission; just ensure that the total credit amount is included in your submission. Credit amounts should be calculated using the table provided on the A-26 activity page. Review these instructions (PDF) to claim your CME.
The deadline to claim CME credit(s) is July 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central. The maximum credit available may be less than the total available due to overlapping sessions.
