Tentative agenda
The 2025 AMA Interim Meeting will be held Friday, Nov. 14 through Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. To assist groups in planning, this is a tentative agenda for I-25. Please note that groups may not schedule meetings or other programming that conflicts with HOD business sessions or reference committee hearings.

Friday, Nov. 14, 2025
- All day—section programming
- 6 p.m.—HOD opening session
Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025
- Morning open for delegation/caucus meetings
- 12:30 p.m.—HOD second opening
- Afternoon reference committee hearings (hearings will begin 15 minutes after the close of the HOD second opening)
Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025
- All day—open forums/education sessions
- Noon-2 p.m.—AMPAC luncheon
Monday, Nov. 17, 2025
- All day—HOD business session
Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025
- Morning—HOD business session
Election Committee volunteers
The deadline to submit the Election Committee volunteer form is Wednesday, July 30. The Election Committee (EC) is appointed following each meeting at which an election is held and members are eligible for reappointment annually up to four terms sequentially and up to eight years in total. Terms begin immediately upon appointment by the speaker. You must also agree not to be directly involved in a campaign during your tenure.
The primary role of the EC is to work with the speakers to adjudicate election complaints. Additional roles may also include monitoring election reforms, responding to requests from the speaker for input on election issues, reviewing the campaign complaint reporting, validation and resolution process, and making recommendations to the House regarding campaign/election issues.
I-25 credentialing
Credentialing for the 2025 Interim Meeting will open on Monday, Aug. 4. The deadline to submit credentialing information is Friday, Aug. 29. The HOD Office will reach out to designated contacts for HOD member organizations about the credentialing process. If you should have any questions, you may email the HOD Office.
Be reminded that I-25 HOD meeting credentials (badges) are prepared for delegates and alternate delegates based on the information provided by the Aug. 29 deadline. Any credentialing changes after this date will require a substitution or temporary substitution. Badges at I-25 will once again be used to identify any substitution. These badges will be clearly identified as “substitute” or “temporary” with a yellow background.
A-27 group endorsement information
The HOD Office is continuing to accept A-27 group endorsement forms for the A-27 election cycle (elections taking place at the June 2027 Annual Meeting). The deadline for submitting this form is Oct. 6, 2025, at 5 p.m. Central. Groups that are not eligible to sponsor a candidate must submit this form to be included on the official A-27 group endorsement list to offer an endorsement to candidates intending to seek election at A-27. All groups wishing to offer endorsements must complete this form for each election cycle as information is not retained from year to year.
The A-27 election cycle endorsement window opens Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, and closes Friday, June 5, 2026, at 5 p.m. Central (just prior to the opening of A-26) with the exception of endorsements offered by the Resident & Fellow Section (RFS) to resident/fellow candidates.
Reminder: The endorsement window for the A-26 election cycle has closed and no further endorsements may be given to candidates for elections being held at the 2026 Annual Meeting.

Deadline to claim A-25 CME credits
CME credits for all in-person sessions at A-25 will expire July 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Central. CME cannot be claimed after this date. Please review these instructions (PDF) to claim your CME.
CME credits for the two livestreamed virtual sessions, which are available to AMA members only, can be claimed by their respective deadlines. AMA members can watch the two virtual sessions online and claim CME before these deadlines:

- A-25: Transitioning out of Active Medical Practice—Your Next Move
- Expiration date: June 6, 2027
