Speakers' candidate interviews

We are pleased to inform you that the interviews your speakers conducted with candidates for election at the upcoming Annual Meeting are now available on the AMA website.

Both the interviews and the candidates’ webpages can be accessed from the same site. Go to https://www.ama-assn.org/house-delegates/ama-elections/house-delegates-ama-board-and-ama-councils-candidates-election for all election-related materials.

Also note that some candidates have withdrawn from the election for the Council on Science & Public Health and are so indicated in the election manual, which is accessible from the link above. Four candidates remain for three current openings.

Finally, we want to reiterate that anyone considering seeking election in June should contact Roger Brown to complete a conflict-of-interest disclosure. Inquiries will be maintained in confidence. Nominations for all vacancies or possible vacancies must be made during the opening session on Friday evening, June 10. The election session will be held from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 14 in the House; only credentialed delegates will be admitted.
