WASHINGTON — Together, the American Hospital Association (AHA), American Medical Association (AMA), and American Nurses Association (ANA) released a public service announcement (PSA) today featuring their leaders urging the American public to ask questions, follow the science and get vaccinated. The PSA stresses that COVID-19 vaccines are a safe and effective way to protect you, your family and your community from the virus.

Today’s effort continues the work the three associations have done over the past year and a half to increase public acceptance of the essential actions to curb the spread of COVID-19. In February, the organizations released a PSA urging Americans to get vaccinated when it is their turn. Last year, they released several PSAs (HERE and HERE) urging the public to wear a mask, practice physical distancing and wash hands frequently.
