Your Powerful Ally
Through AMA advocacy and policymaking, we are addressing the issues important to you—together—and shaping what’s next for physicians.

Business

The RFS Assembly considered 16 resolutions and one report prompting robust discussion on important issues affecting trainees such as National Resident Matching Program reform, improving equity and affordability in away rotations, protecting evidence-based family planning services in Title X-funded programs, ensuring universal health coverage for children and young adults, and timely processing of DACA renewal applications.

The section immediately transmitted five resolutions to the AMA House of Delegates (HOD) for consideration at the 2026 Interim Meeting of the HOD. Learn more about these and other policies considered by the HOD.

The RFS elected Kylee Borger, MD, MPH, as the chair-elect.
