“Today’s ruling is an important step toward protecting the health of Americans, particularly children. Vaccines are one of the safest and most effective tools in medicine, and strong, science-based immunization policies save lives.

“The American Medical Association will continue to stand firmly with physicians, scientists, and public health experts to ensure vaccine recommendations remain grounded in the best available medical evidence and focused on protecting patients.”
