Many physicians find their electronic health record (EHR) inbox flooded with messages from skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). Ask the SNF staff to batch their communications so you receive only one or two contacts a day.
Other strategies include developing standing orders with the facility, explaining what messages your triage nurses can answer and encouraging the facility to make non-emergency calls during office hours.
