With wave scheduling, your clinic can expand capacity and flexibility while minimizing running behind schedule. Rigid block scheduling makes it difficult to repurpose leftover time when a visit ends early. By contrast, front-loading the patient volume at the beginning of an hour lets you use the time not needed for one patient for another visit.
