Sonal G. Patel, MD

Dr. Patel is double-boarded in neurology with special qualification in child neurology and clinical neurophysiology, specializing in epilepsy. She leads the Magnificent Minds Neurology Center in Bethesda, Maryland, which is affiliated with Privia Medical Group, an AMA Health System member.

She completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University and then earned her MD from Rush University Medical College. Dr. Patel also completed her pediatrics residency at Rush, followed by a pediatric neurology residency at Northwestern University/Children’s Memorial Hospital. Dr. Patel then completed her fellowship in clinical neurophysiology specializing in epilepsy at the Ohio State University/Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Patel previously worked at Children’s Hospital of Orange County as a pediatric neurologist.
