The AMA invites medical students, residents and IMGs to submit an abstract for presentation at the AMA Interim Meeting Poster Showcase on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026. The Poster Showcase will take place during the 2026 Interim Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Medical students, residents and IMGs are invited to submit an abstract for presentation at the AMA Interim Meeting Poster Showcase.

Call for abstracts is now open: Present your work at the Poster Showcase on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026. This AMA member-exclusive opportunity provides medical students, residents, and IMGs a platform to showcase their research.

Submit an abstract. Space is limited. 

Deadline to submit is Sept. 27, 2026.

Key dates & requirements

  • Space is limited.
  • Final submission deadline on Sept. 27, 2026; acceptance letters dispersed on a rolling basis.
  • Final decisions will be communicated by Oct. 6, 2026.
  • Poster participant directory material deadline: Oct. 23, 2026.
  • Showcase times:  Friday, Nov. 6, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort.
  • The primary author must be the presenting author and is required to attend the Poster Showcase.
  • One presenter per poster.
  • Multiple abstracts will not be accepted and may result in disqualification.
  • Maximum poster size: 36"H x 42"W.
    • Participants are responsible for printing their own poster.
    • Posters that exceed the maximum size will not be allowed to present.
