Edward T. Bope, MD, currently serves as immediate past chair on the Senior Physicians Section Governing Council at the American Medical Association.
The Senior Physicians Section (SPS), representing more than 62,000 members, is the largest senior physician group in the United States. The SPS provides a vital platform for physicians aged 65 and older—whether practicing full-time, part-time, or retired—to remain actively engaged in their profession, advocate for issues that impact senior physicians, and continue contributing to the broader medical community.
Dr. Bope also serves on the Board of the Columbus Medical Association Foundation in his home state of Ohio.
