John B. Luster, MD

John B. Luster, MD, a primary care physician practicing in Orange, California, serves as member at-large of the AMA Organized Medical Staff Section (OMSS) Governing Council.  

The OMSS is a member interest group within the AMA for physician medical staff leaders. The Section Governing Council is responsible for directing OMSS efforts to improve patient outcomes and the physician experience in the hospital setting.

Dr. Luster is actively affiliated with Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center, Chapman Global Medical Center, and OC Global Medical Center, and has held multiple leadership roles, including chief of staff and chair positions. He has been a delegate for the California Medical Association and led educational and panel discussions through CMA and AMA. Additionally, Dr. Luster participates in volunteer medical missions, most recently serving at Casa Aleluya Orphanage in Guatemala in March 2026.
