Akhil Mahant, a member of the AMA Medical Student Section (MSS), is a student councilor on the Council on Science and Public Health (CSPH).
The MSS is a member interest group within the AMA for medical students. The governing council is responsible for directing MSS efforts at the national level to improve medical education and advocate for the future of medicine.
