Janelle Marra, DO, is a family medicine/sports medicine physician and serves as the GLMA liaison on the LGBTQ+ Section Governing Council.

The LGBTQ+ Section is a member interest group within the AMA dedicated to addressing issues that impact LGBTQ medical students, residents and fellows, physicians and patients.

Dr. Marra has been an active member of GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ+ Equality since 2020. She has been a board member at-large of GLMA since 2023.
