The IMG Section submitted one resolution to the Annual Meeting for consideration by the House of Delegates.
IMGS sessions
The IMG Section’s Busharat Ahmad MD, Leadership Development program, “Bravery through Values: Advocacy in Times of Great Organizational Risk” was very successful with featured speakers Dr. Steven Fleischman from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and Dr. Andrew Racine from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). This program addressed the organizational risks and issues while working within the current administration guidelines. This program was approved for 1.0 of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).™
Desserts reception
The section’s 17th Desserts from Around the World reception was successful in offering many tasty desserts that were enjoyed by over 375 guests along with entertainment by the Latin Street Music dancers.
The IMGS culminated its meetings hosting the Health Equity Caucus along with the LGBTQ+, UMAS and WPS on Sunday, June 7.
