Mark Cuban, Entrepreneur; Co-Founder, Cost Plus Drugs

Mark Cuban

A natural businessman since childhood, Mark Cuban founded the computer consulting service MicroSolutions, which was acquired by CompuServe in 1990. Mark then co-founded the internet streaming company Broadcast.com, which sold to Yahoo for $5.7 billion dollars in 1999. Mark appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank from 2011 to 2025, held majority ownership of the Dallas Mavericks from 2000 to 2023, and continues to be active as an entrepreneur and investor. 

In 2019, Mark co-founded the online pharmacy Costplusdrugs.com, which has transformed medication pricing in the U.S. He lives in Dallas with his wife and three children.

Sanjay Gupta, MD, Chief Medical Correspondent, CNN

Sanjay Gupta, MD

Sanjay Gupta, MD, is the multiple award-winning chief medical correspondent for CNN and host of the CNN podcast Chasing Life. Dr. Gupta, a practicing neurosurgeon, plays an integral role in CNN’s reporting on health and medical news, covering some of the most important health stories in the United States and around the world since 2001.  

In addition to his work for CNN, Dr. Gupta is an associate professor of neurosurgery at Emory University Hospital and associate chief of neurosurgery at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. He also serves as a diplomate of the American Board of Neurosurgery. In 2019, Gupta was elected to the National Academy of Medicine, considered one of the highest honors in the medical field.
