The American Medical Association is the nation’s largest medical association and works tirelessly to advance efforts that support and empower America’s physicians.

The AMA promotes the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health through a wide range of efforts in policy advocacy, education, research, physician resources and more.

As a primary focus today, the AMA is leading major initiatives to examine prior authorization, scope of practice, physician burnout, Medicare reform and telehealth, engaging with physicians, health systems and government and developing AMA policy through its House of Delegates.
